Is a major city near you about to land a future WrestleMania event? Let’s see what today’s rumors have to say about it!
Top rumor of the day: WrestleMania 45 back in New Orleans’ Superdome
Next year’s WrestleMania 43 event is scheduled to take place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With Nashville rumored to be the location of WrestleMania 44 in 2028, the lingering question on everyone’s mind is naturally about the location of WrestleMania 45 in 2029.
According to Fightful Select, WWE and the city of New Orleans have a hold on the Superdome from March 12 through April
21, 2029. This strongly suggests that WrestleMania 45 is coming to the venue sometime in that date range.
WWE and The Rock originally announced that WrestleMania 42 was coming to the Silverdome Superdome for 2026, but that location was later changed to Las Vegas. As part of the deal, WWE promised to bring a future WrestleMania event to New Orleans. It looks like WWE will make good on their word in 2029, unless plans change again, of course.

- The odds at BetOnline indicate that Bron Breakker and Roxanne Perez are the favorites to win their respective Money in the Bank ladder matches this weekend in New Orleans.
- For whatever it’s worth, Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer heard a rumor that WWE might book a Hair Match as the rare stipulation for the blowoff between Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
- Meltzer also mentioned that WWE is “trying to teach [Kendal Grey] to be an actress” because they think she needs to be “more than a mechanic” in the ring. The NXT therapy segments are there to “test her” in that regard.
- After Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp asked about Richard Holliday going to WWE, he came away with the impression that it’s not happening anymore. There are people in WWE who are puzzled about how it fell through.
- On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T claimed that he was “almost” Bad Bunny’s tag team partner at WrestleMania 37 instead of Damian Priest.
