The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players for Thursday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
As expected, running back Isiah Pacheco is active. Pacheco missed the Chiefs’ last three games after suffering an MCL sprain in Week 8 against the Washington Commanders.
The Chiefs had already declared guard Trey Smith, tight end Noah Gray, and defensive back Christian Roland-Wallace out on Wednesday’s
injury report. Cornerback Kristian Fulton, running back Elijah Mitchell, tackle Esa Pole, and wide receiver Jalen Royals will also not dress for the contest.
In Gray’s absence, second year tight end Jared Wiley will suit up for the Chiefs for the first time since tearing his ACL in practice last November.
On Wednesday, Kansas City elevated Pole and safety Mike Edwards from the team’s practice squad to the active roster. As elevated players, they will automatically be returned to the team’s practice squad after the game. Edwards is active for the contest.
The Cowboys have also released their list of inactives.
Starting left tackle Tyler Guyton had already been ruled out on the final injury report. Starting cornerback Caelen Carson was listed as questionable. Per Joseph Hoyt of the Dallas Morning News, Carson is inactive for the game. The Cowboys will also not dress defensive tackles Jay Toia and Perion Winfrey, running back Jaydon Blue, and wide receiver Jonathan Mingo.
The Cowboys elevated cornerback Corey Ballentine for the game. He is active.
