The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released their final injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 6 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and several key players will be unavailable as Tampa Bay looks to build on last week’s victory over Dallas.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield (right thumb) has officially been ruled out after missing all three practices this week. Rookie Jalon Daniels will make his third consecutive start after leading the Buccaneers to their first victory of the season last Thursday against
the Cowboys.
The Buccaneers will also be without safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (rib), who did not participate in practice throughout the week. Wide receiver David Sills V (hamstring) was also ruled out despite being listed as a full participant in all three practices.
Cornerback Benjamin Morrison (quad) is listed as doubtful, while linebackers SirVocea Dennis (ankle/foot) and Josiah Trotter (knee), cornerback Ayden Garnes (ankle), and running back Sean Tucker (quad) are questionable. Dennis and Garnes were full participants Friday, providing some encouraging news heading into the weekend.
Pittsburgh is also dealing with several injuries, particularly at wide receiver. Roman Wilson (finger) and Ben Skowronek (calf) have been ruled out, along with safety DeShon Elliott (knee). Wide receiver DK Metcalf was added to Friday’s report with an illness and is questionable.
