Bayern Munich fans had their worlds shaken on Tuesday when news broke that star striker Harry Kane was injured during training with the English national team.
While the injury has been described as “minor”, that did not do much to ease the tension for fans, who are focused on the team trying to win a treble. Without Kane, that feat would become exponentially more difficult.
Three Lions boss — and former Bayern Munich head coach — Thomas Tuchel, who helped bring Kane to Bavaria, addressed the situation.
“It’s a minor injury from basically out of nothing. He had to step out of training yesterday after 15 minutes. No chance to be involved, not even today. He is being further assessed now,” Tuchel told ITV (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
When asked if the injury was anything “serious”, Tuchel said: “It’s serious enough not to play and we await further assessment.”
So is it “minor” or “serious”? Leave it to Tuchel to perplex Bayern Munich fans one more time.
