It’s time for this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey about our Minnesota Vikings, as we ask you folks a question about our favorite team that we feel is of great importance.
The biggest story around the team for the past couple of days has, unfortunately, centered around the season-ending injury to veteran safety Jamal Adams. Adams tore his
quad in the preseason opener against the Giants and will not suit up again this season.
The signing of Adams was thought by some to, potentially, be the sort of signing that would alleviate the potential loss of Harrison Smith. With Smith still not having returned to the Vikings. . .but also not yet having officially announced his retirement. . .we want to know whether or not you think the injury to Adams increases the chances we’ll see #22 back on the field with the Vikings in 2026.
With training camp officially set to wrap up this week. . .the last official day of camp will be marked by Thursday’s joint practice with the Baltimore Ravens ahead of their preseason game on Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium. . .if Smith is going to come back, we’ll likely be hearing word of his return here soon.
