Bo Nickal will not be competing later tonight (Sat., Jan. 10, 2026) at RAF 05 from inside Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Fla., following an unexpected weight miss by 48-year-old Yoel Romero.
On Friday afternoon, Real American Freestyle (RAF) released an announcement on social media that Romero had missed weight and was yanked from his matchup with Nickal. Romero will now compete against Stephen Buchanan, but Nickal has been removed from the card entirely.

Unfortunately for Nickal, he won’t get a chance to display his world-class wrestling tonight in an anticipated showdown with Romero. After having to deal with Colby Covington and Luke Rockhold’s antics on Friday night Nickal will be packing his bags and heading back home early.
