When you thought it might have been over, there’s always more.
Per Eli Hoff of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, current Missouri defensive tackle Sterling Webb has filed for a temporary restraining order against the University of Missouri, the institution he will be suiting up for in 2026.
The TRO would prevent the university or football program from “withholding Webb from practice, competition, team travel, or any other intercollegiate athletics activity during the 2026-27 season.” It also prevents them from “withholding, reducing, or conditioning the revenue-sharing or name, image and likeness compensation otherwise available to Webb on any of those grounds.”
Another fascinating situation within collegiate athletics.
