The fight is starting to feel real.
Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) held its second special press conference (watch here) on Wednesday (April 15, 2026) inside Palladium Times Square in New York City to promote the upcoming mega “Rousey vs. Carano” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, set for May 16 in Los Angeles and streaming exclusively on Netflix.
All six fighters from the three featured bouts — dubbed the event’s “triple headliners” — were in attendance.
That included marquee names like Ronda Rousey and
Gina Carano, along with Francis Ngannou vs. Philipe Lins.
But let’s be honest…
All eyes were on Nate Diaz and Mike Perry.
Despite the star power, the press conference itself was relatively tame between Diaz and Perry.
That changed once the faceoffs began.
Following the presser, Diaz and Perry finally went face-to-face for the first time, bringing some much-needed intensity to an otherwise calm afternoon. While nothing physical occurred, the tension was clear as both men locked in during the staredown.
