Accusations are tearing Psycho Clown and Pagano apart. A mystery attacker sent members of the Psycho Circus to the hospital over the weeks, and Psycho suspects Pagano may have answers. That conversation drove a wedge even deeper between the AAA tag team champions. The latest episode of AAA TV (May 9 2026) taped from Queretaro also featured Bayley and Lola Vice saving La Catalina from Las Toxicas, Lince Dorado racking up wins, and Chessman interviewing to become the general manager.
The cliffhanger
coming in was Psycho Clown finding Pagano’s kerchief under the beaten body of Murder Clown. Here the storyline recap video to get up to speed.
For the main event segment, Psycho called Pagano to the ring to address his concerns. Psycho pulled out the evidence and claimed it hurts his soul that the perpetrator could be one of his brothers. Pagano was bothered by the accusation of betrayal. He is not that type of person. He wondered if someone planted that evidence. Pagano wiped away tears and reached out for a hug. Psycho shoved him away in an act of skepticism. Psycho walked out on his partner. Boom! The War Raiders attacked Psycho on stage. This relates the chase for the AAA tag titles, and it doesn’t mean they are behind the clown attacks. Pagano ran up stage to fend them off. When Psycho tried to put a friendly hand on Pagano’s shoulder, Pagano shrugged him off. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t think we’re any closer to finding out who is the mystery attacker.
Bayley made a surprise return to AAA to help La Catalina against Las Toxicas. Catalina made her in-ring debut to defeat Jessy Jackson via flying splash. Catalina earned a solid win to climb up the ladder, and Jackson put up a good fight to establish herself as a worthy opponent to eat losses. After the match, Flammer stepped up to Catalina as a trap for La Hiedra and Maravilla to attack from behind. AAA milked the entrance gimmick to have Lola Vice run in. The crowd popped for her. The numbers were still too much. Next in was Bayley for an unexpected appearance. The crowd popped even louder for her. The tecnicas cleared the ring of Las Toxicas. This tango further escalates Catalina’s chase for the Reina de Reinas Championship, and it builds for a potential trios match along the way. The end of the scene makes me wonder if Bayley can’t dance. Her movement looked awkward next to Catalina and Lola.
Lince Dorado defeated Octagon Jr. and Cruz Del Toro in a three-way for the opener. The action was fast-paced and athletic. One of the stories is that former Latin American champion Octagon Jr. hasn’t earned a singles win on TV in the WWE era of AAA. He came real close here by executing a moonsault slam on Cruz, however, Lince placed Cruz’s foot on the ropes to break the pin. The other story is the redemption of Lince getting his career back on track. The finish was bang bang. Cruz connected on a coast to coast dropkick to Octagon. On the pin, Lince leaped for a shooting star press. Cruz rolled away, and Octagon felt the impact. Lince got the better of Cruz for a brainbuster to win. This makes Lince’s second straight win in AAA, both of which were three-ways.
In the search for hiring AAA’s general manager, Dorian Roldan is confident that his mother will hand over the job. With that job comes the power. Roldan’s confidence took a hit when he saw Chessman dressed in a suit to speak with Marisela Peña. We’ll find out who becomes the new general manager on May 23.
