The Kentucky Wildcats are set to get Kam Williams back on the court when they face off with the LSU Tigers on Wednesday, the opening day of SEC Tournament play.
On Tuesday, Kentucky released its injury report for Wednesday’s game, and it has Williams listed as probable, indicating that he’s expected to play.
Now, how much Williams is able to play is uncertain, but just knowing he’ll be able to suit up and give Kentucky at least some minutes is a major boost ahead of next week’s NCAA Tournament. If
the Wildcats can make a run in Nashville and Williams gets back to being what he was pre-injury, then moving up to a No. 6 seed or higher in the Big Dance is on the table.
Of course, Kentucky must first win tomorrow vs. LSU. Jaland Lowe and Jayden Quaintance remain out, while Brandon Garrison is also probable, so he must have something new that he’s dealing with.
For the Tigers, they’ll once again be without Dedan Thomas, Jalen Reed, and Robert Miller.
