The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pittsburgh Steelers have released their inactive lists ahead of Sunday’s Week 6 matchup at Raymond James Stadium, with both teams missing several players as kickoff approaches.
Tampa Bay will once again be without quarterback Baker Mayfield, who continues to recover from a right thumb injury. Rookie Jalon Daniels will make his third consecutive start after leading the Buccaneers to their first victory of the season last week against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Bucs will also
be without safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (rib), cornerback Benjamin Morrison (quad), and running back Sean Tucker (quad). Tucker entered the weekend listed as questionable but was unable to get cleared for Sunday’s contest.
There is some positive news for Tampa Bay, however, as linebackers SirVocea Dennis (ankle/foot) and Josiah Trotter (knee) are both active. Cornerback Ayden Garnes (ankle) is also available after being listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report.
For Pittsburgh, wide receiver Ben Skowronek (calf) is inactive after being ruled out Friday. The Steelers will also be without several depth players, including former Buccaneers cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting.
On the positive side for Pittsburgh, tight end Pat Freiermuth (calf), cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey (wrist) and Jamel Dean (ankle), defensive tackle Keeanu Benton (ankle), and running back Rico Dowdle (toe) are all active despite entering the weekend with questionable designations.
