
Women’s Soccer
The 32nd season of Penn State women’s soccer and the 19th under head coach Erica Dambach begins tonight with a tough road matchup against Duke. The Nittany Lions rank No. 11 in the preseason poll, seven spots behind No. 4 Duke.
Penn State and Duke will meet for the first time since the 2015 national championship game, won 1-0 by Penn State. The Nittany Lions lead the all-time series 4-1-1.
Kaitlyn MacBean (16 goals in 2024) and Aubrey Kulpa (7 goals) headline Penn State’s returning production on offense.
The Nittany Lions return nearly 60% of their offense from 2024. Goalies Mackenzie Gress (1.11 GAA in 2024) and Amanda Poorbaugh (0.64 GAA) are both back to lead the way in net.
Tonight’s game against Duke is set for 7pm. The game will be broadcast on ACCNX and the ESPN app.
