EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Starting offensive tackle Andrew Thomas and running back Tyrone Tracy did not participate in practice on Wednesday as the New York Giants began on-field preparation for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Thomas sufferea groin injury in the Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Rams. He played the full game Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Holding him out of practice was likely just maintenance to be sure he is ready for Sunday.
Tracy was the Giants’ third running
back against the Titans, with Devin Singletary inactive. If he is limited in any way, that could change against the Cardinals. Head coach John Harbaugh called Tracy “day-to-day.”
Linebacker Malik Harrison, who is out of practice squad elevations and was not signed to the 53-man roster this week, was listed as did not participate with a groin injury. He was seen with a trainer on a back field during the media viewing portion of practice. That injury likely explains why Harrison was not added to the roster.
Cornerback Deonte Banks and safety Tyler Nubin were both listed as limited with calf injuries. Banks has missed the last two games, and Nubin missed the game against Tennessee.
