In Week 8, we saw the New Orleans Saints lose 23-3 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and drop to 1-7 on the season. We also saw Spencer Rattler get benched late in the 3rd and rookie Tyler Shough takeover at quarterback.
After the game, the biggest question posed to Kellen Moore was on why he made the decision and would Shough be the team’s starter moving forward. Moore said he was just trying to create a spark on offense and that they will look at everything and make a decision soon because they did not want to flip-flop between quarterbacks. On Tuesday, that decision was made as Shough was named the starter for the Saints who will take on the 5-2 Los Angeles Rams at SoFi this Sunday.
