TCU freshman catcher Brady Dallimore is reportedly entering the transfer portal after just one season with the Horned Frogs. A highly-touted high-schooler from Las Vegas, Nevada, Dallimore was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team this season, slashing .270/.373/.549 with eight home runs, eight doubles and 23 RBIs. The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder appeared in 38 games and made 33 starts. He scored 28 runs and recorded 33 base hits. Jamie Plunkett of Horned Frog Blitz was first to report the news of Dallimore’s
departure for the portal.
Dallimore split time behind the plate with sophomore Nolan Traeger, an All-Big 12 selection last season who has also reportedly entered the portal. With Traeger and Dallimore departing, TCU will need a new starting catcher in 2027. The Horned Frogs turned in a disappointing 2026 campaign, finishing 33-21 and missing the NCAA Tournament despite opening the season as a top-10 preseason team.
