Indiana women’s basketball (13-11, 2-10 Big Ten) is set to take on Purdue (11-12, 3-9 Big Ten) at home on Sunday afternoon.
The Hoosiers are coming off of two consecutive Big Ten wins, beating Northwestern at home and Wisconsin on the road to earn their first victories in conference play. Shay Ciezki, the league’s leading scorer at 23.9 points per game, was excellent in both matchups with 33 points against the Wildcats and 31 against the Badgers.
The Boilermakers are coming off of three consecutive
losses, falling to Michigan State at home, Minnesota on the road and Penn State back at home. Purdue’s last win came against Indiana in the first of two matchups on the season.
Indiana will be looking for revenge in this one after falling in Mackey Arena earlier this season, the program’s first loss in the rivalry series since 2019.
