Harry Kane is being linked with Barcelona once again courtesy of a new report that claims the Catalans have been on the phone to the Bayern Munich striker.
Barcelona are said to have “reached out to Kane’s representatives” to see if he would be willing to swap the Allianz Arena for Camp Nou this summer, per the Daily Mail.
The England captain’s camp are said to have “shut down the interest” but Barcelona “have agreed to revisit the situation once Kane’s participation at the World Cup is over.”
Kane
is into the last year of his contract at Bayern and is happy at the club. However, as a contract extension is still yet to be agreed, the rumor mill will keep on taking an interest.
Barcelona, meanwhile, remain focused on Julian Alvarez but know a deal will be difficult as Atletico do not want to sell the striker, particularly to their rivals.
The report adds that Barcelona “are prepared to go all out for Kane” if they receive any kind of indication that he is interested in moving to Camp Nou this summer.
