The New York Jets made a minor move yesterday, signing running back Keilan Robinson to the practice squad. Robinson is listed as a running back, but his primary role will probably be on special teams, particularly as a kick returner. Xavier Gipson cost the Jets dearly last Sunday, fumbling away a kick return that gave the Steelers a short field for a touchdown. Aaron Glenn was fuming about the turnover after the game. Could Robinson take Gipson’s kick return job in the near
future? One can only hope.
