It has been an eventful week for the Jaguars! In addition to the official news of the team playing at Camping World Stadium in Orlando during the 2027 season with the stadium renovations in Jacksonville, the Jaguars’ Strength and Conditioning and Performance Science staffs were selected as the Alvin Roy NFL Performance Team of the Year by the Professional Football Performance Coaches Association. The award is to recognize performance training, and only Head Strength and Conditioning Coaches cast
votes for the top-three teams they feel are deserving of the honor.
They were awarded “for their efforts to maximize player performance and improve player health through cutting edge performance training” during the 2025 season. Director of Strength and Conditioning Eric Ciano stated, “Our team works tirelessly to ensure our players are put in the best positions to succeed. This award would not have been possible without each and every member of our staff and our players’ dedication to being their best.”
