Enjoy some Yard Goats postseason action!
Tonight, the Hartford Yard Goats will begin their Eastern League playoff series on the road in Reading, Pennsylvania, this afternoon at 4:45 PM. They will face the Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies) in a best-of-three series for the Northeast Division
Championship.
Game 2 will take place at Dunkin’ Park on Thursday, September 17th (4:30 PM), and the decisive Game 3 (if necessary) will be at Dunkin’ Park on Friday, September 18th (4:30 PM).
The winner of the Divisional Championship will advance to the best-of-three Eastern League Championship Series (ELCS) which will begin Sunday, September 20th in either Richmond, Virginia, or Erie, Pennsylvania.
The Yard Goats won the first half Championship, and Reading clinched the second half title.

Rockies schedule
Tonight, the Rockies will meet the San Diego Padres at 6:40 pm. Walker Buehler will start for the Padres will the Rockies have not yet announced their starter though there is reason to believe that Kyle Freeland will be back to start the game.

It turns out — I knew this, but I forgot — that players in the KBO get their own songs.
Last week, I found Sam Hilliard’s song, and, Reader, it is amazing.
I’ve already told Sam, our Purple Row musician, that should there be a lockout, I hope she will write songs for each Rockies player.
I think we can make this work.
