UFC is leaving ESPN at the end of the year.
The promotion recently inked a new deal with Paramount, bringing mixed martial arts (MMA) to Paramount+ and CBS, with the latter expected to replace numbered pay-per-view (PPV) shows (or not). But UFC CEO, Dana White, is also rolling out new Power Slap content, UFC BJJ events, and Boxing cards.
Get ready for a busy 2026.
”So next year, with the Paramount deal, we’re gonna do 44 events, fight between fight nights and numbered pay-per-view events,“ White told
Impaulsive. ”I’m gonna do 12 Power Slap events next year. We’re gonna do 14 BJJ events and then the new boxing deal, I’m working on for 2026. Think about it, boxing isn’t on TV right now. Nobody has a TV deal. They’re doing some DAZN fights. I’ll end up nailing down a television deal for boxing and we’ll do 16 or 18 boxing events next year.“
Boxing left TV after the dissolution of HBO Boxing and Showtime Sports.
No fights have been announced for 2026 but multiple UFC champions (both past and present) are expected to return next year, including Ilia Topuria (Featherweight), Khamzat Chimaev (Middleweight), and Kayla Harrison (Bantamweight). As for Power Slap, that currently streams on YouTube while UFC BJJ airs on UFC Fight Pass.
