The New York Jets are at home in East Rutherford, New Jersey for the second game of their 2025 campaign. They will be taking on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. The game is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm EDT.
The game will be played in seasonably warm weather for mid-September in the New York metropolitan area. Partly cloudy skies will prevail throughout the game. Winds will be light and variable at 5 – 10 mph out of the north northeast to start the game, shifting to the northeast as the game progresses.
Temperatures will be in the upper 70s to near 80 to start the game, rising into the lower 80s as the game progresses. Relative humidity will be moderate, in the upper 40s to start the game, dropping into the lower 40s as the game progresses. There will be a near zero chance of showers at the start of the game, increasing to around 7% by game’s end.
This is going to be near ideal weather for the fans. For the players, a few minor issues may arise. The sun might present a problem if it gets in the eyes of returners and receivers at points during the game. Dehydration and cramps also could be a minor problem in the late summer warmth. However, for the most part, you couldn’t ask for a better day to be outside playing or watching the game in East Rutherford. Enjoy the game everyone.
