Only five Mountain West bowl teams?
In a confusing result, fans are down on the Mountain West’s ability to get more than five bowl teams, with nearly half choosing that number.
The conference already has four teams that have qualified, and with a month remaining in the schedule, there is plenty of time for more teams to join. Currently, two teams have five wins and two more have four. Six bowl teams seem more likely, with seven also a possibility.

Looking at some of the bubble bowl teams, and the overwhelming majority of fans believe New Mexico is the most likely out of this group to reach a bowl game. About one-fifth of the voters think it will be Wyoming, with Utah State also getting some votes. But it’s clear people believe in New Mexico.
