Tonight, Sat., Dec. 13, we say goodbye to John Cena — the one who wrestles in WWE matches, anyway. The actor and personality will still be around, including in WWE on occasion, it seems. Still, we’re about to see one of the greatest to ever do it one last time, and that’s special.
Where and when can you watch Cena face Gunther from Washington, D.C.‘s Capital One Arena? The show starts at 8 p.m. Eastern. Cena says he’s main event-ing, so it’s probably a safe bet that he won’t come on until 10 or so,
but WWE will certainly have highlights and tributes of the Never Seen 17 throughout the show — which also features some great action between WWE’s current stars and some folks from NXT and TNA they hope will be future stars.
WWE’s product is now found on numerous channels and streaming platforms. This one is exclusive to Peacock in the United States, so you’ll only find it on that Comcast-owned streamer, and NOT any of their television channels. Internationally, SNME will be available on YouTube.
The event will have the now standard two-hour free Countdown pre-show, starting at 6 p.m. Eastern and streaming on WWE.com, Peacock, YouTube, and WWE’s other various social media channels. That leads right on into the show itself at 8 ET on Peacock or YouTube, which will be followed a post-show with Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque and others. That will stream immediately after SNME ends on Peacock and WWE socials.
Here’s the full card for the show:
- John Cena vs. Gunther
- Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. NXT Champion Oba Femi in a non-title match
- Bayley vs. Sol Ruca
- World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Je’Von Evans & TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater (believed to be non-title)
And here again is what you need to know to watch it:
John Cena’s Final Match takes place at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C.‘s Capital One Arena. The show starts at 8 p.m. Eastern, and streams exclusively on Peacock (in the U.S.) or YouTube (everywhere else).
And stick with Cageside Seats all weekend for complete coverage of John Cena’s Final Match!
