We’ve got one preseason game left before the Washington Commanders shift their focus completely to the regular season opener against the New York Giants. They went 12-5 last year in the first season of the Adam Peters/Dan Quinn/Jayden Daniels era. The Commanders won two games in the playoffs against the Buccaneers and Lions before falling to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
They’re back this year and looking to get past the NFC Championship Game, and onto a Super Bowl victory.
The team made a pair of trades on offense(Laremy Tunsil, Deebo Samuel), but they’re currently in the middle of a contract dispute with Jayden Daniels’ best weapon, WR Terry McLaurin, and about to part ways with their former starting RB Brian Robinson. Washington is also facing what looks like a tougher schedule this season that will be featured in primetime throughout the season.
Were the changes the team made this offseason enough to get to the next level, and how many wins will the Washington Commanders have this season?
