“Oh when the (Cleveland) Browns go marching in…” doesn’t have the right ring to it, but the team from northern Ohio will indeed head down to Louisiana to face the New Orleans Saints in Week 9. All of a sudden on Wednesday, word came that the Browns are preparing to start QB Shedeur Sanders due to QB Deshaun Watson being in the concussion protocol.
Cleveland also made two last-minute additions to their roster before the first day of Saints preparations
.Besides Watson, three other Browns starters missed
Wednesday’s practice, while New Orleans could get WR Jordyn Tyson and OT Kelvin Banks Jr. back from injured reserve this week.
During practice, one of Cleveland’s rookie receivers, Denzel Boston, came up limping and was added to the injury report with a calf injury, despite returning to practice:
Boston already had a sleeve on his right calf in the first video where he was limping.
