Michael Chiesa is coming home.
For the first time 12 years, Chiesa (19-7) gets his chance to fight in his home state of Washington when he takes on Carlston Harris (19-7) in a welterweight bout at UFC Seattle
at Climate Pledge Arena on March 28. The UFC officially announced the bout Saturday.
Chiesa, a Colorado native who later grew up on Spokane, is currently on a three-fight win streak. In his lone outing of 2025, Chiesa won a unanimous decision over fellow veteran Court McGee to add to recent wins against Max Griffin and Tony Ferguson.
He competes in Washington for the first time since July 2013, when he was handed his first pro loss by Jorge Masvidal at an event also in Seattle.
Harris is looking to snap a streak after losing consecutive bouts to Santiago Ponzinibbio and Khaos Williams. It’s been an up-and-down UFC run for Harris who is 4-3 in the promotion. He owns a pair of Performance of the Night bonuses after finishing both Jeremiah Wells and Christian Aguilera with anaconda chokes.
UFC Seattle is headlined by a middleweight bout between two-time champion Israel Adesanya and Joe Pyfer.
