Bayern Munich star Harry Kane and former striker Robert Lewandowski are two of the most popular players in the club’s modern history.
Lewandowski, of course, holds the Bundesliga single season goal-scoring
record with 41 goals. Kane, meanwhile, has 18 goals in 14 Bundesliga game so far this season. Kane is clearly on pace to break the Polish Hitman’s record and was recently asked about potentially breaking that mark.
“I think it’s possible, especially with the start I’ve had so far this season. There’s still a long way to go. I need to be able to maintain this level for another four or five months. In football, the hardest thing is to be consistent over a long period. This is an incredible record and it will be difficult to beat, I know that. I always enjoy trying to have these ambitions,” Kane told Sky Germany’s Torben Hoffmann (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
So…what do you say Bayern Munich fans, do you want to see Kane break the record…or would you rather see Lewandowski continue to be the record holder?
