Bayern Munich is raring to go into full Terminator mode for the 2026/27 season, with the club signing players for that purpose. Vincent Kompany, who is the mastermind of the club’s recent successes, expects his team to play better than they did last season. Even the new signings.
“There are many nice stories in our team. Guys like Nene Brown, who still hasn’t won anything. Now it’s his moment to win something,” Kompany said (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia). “Saibari is joining us, it’s his first
moment at the really top level in Europe. And then there are guys like Jamal and Phonzy who are very motivated to reach their best again. I expect all the guys to play an even better season than the last one.”
The Rekordmeister won the domestic double last season, missing out on the Champions League after a narrow semifinal defeat. The Belgian coach intends to use that, among others, as inspiration for his players to make sure they can win every piece of silverware attainable.
