At long last, Randal Kolo Muani is a Juventus player again.
Through all of the twists and turns that the last year has proved to provide both the player and Juventus’ attempts — even through different sporting chiefs — to bring him back to Turin, Kolo Muani’s priority never changed.
He wanted to come back to Juventus. And now he’s gotten that chance.
Juventus officially announced the return of Kolo Muani on Sunday, with there being one major twist compared to pretty much all of the previous reporting
prior to the weekend. Rather than arriving on loan than what was expected to be a very easy to achieve option or obligation to buy, Juve have signed Kolo Muani outright for an initial fee of €38 million. There are another €3.2 million in agent fees and then €12 million in add-ons for a player who spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur and was training with Paris Saint-Germain’s Under-19 team until the last couple of days because he was completely out of the project.
PSG wanted to break even on the books — and it looks like they will do just that with these numbers.
And for Juventus, it’s a big investment and even bigger bet that Kolo Muani returning to his happy place will be the thing that has him looking more like the player who Juventus signed on loan for the second half of the 2024-25 season rather than the one that multiple Spurs managers saw during the 2025-26 campaign.
Kolo Muani has signed a five-year contract through 2031 and taken the No. 9 jersey, which had previously been worn by Dusan Vlahovic since the start of the 2022-23 season.

Turin, 02 August 2026 – Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain FC for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Randal Kolo Muani has been reached for a consideration of € 38 million, payable in four financial years, with the addition of ancillary costs up to € 3.2 million; furthermore, bonuses up to a maximum of € 12 million are envisaged upon the achievement of further performance objectives.
Juventus and the player have signed a contract of employment until the 30 June 2031
On the same day that Juventus announced the signing of Kerim Alajbegović for up to €35 million, they have also now committed a whole lot of money for Kol0 Muani to be the striker that delivers the goals that manager Luciano Spalletti has oh-so-desired pretty much ever since he arrived at Juventus.
Even as he went to Spurs at the end of the summer transfer window last year, Kolo Muani’s desire was to return to Juventus. Former director Damien Comolli, rightfully or wrongly, didn’t get a deal done with PSG, not really giving in to the demands of the reigning European champions as the price tag pushed over €60 million. Now, it’s not too far off that now with new CEO Giovanni Carnevalli in charge, and this is very much Juventus allocating a lot of their resources to Kolo Muani as he comes off a bad season on loan in the Premier League. And that means that Kolo Muani has a whole lot to prove that he is worthy of this kind of investment at a time in his career where he is very much in his prime at 27 years old.
Between Kolo Muani and Alajbegović, Juventus’ attack now has two very important new pieces to it as other areas of the squad still are lacking in potential improvements. In Kolo Muani’s case, the bet is that him getting the move back to the club he quickly came to adore is what sees him get back to his best. And maybe, just maybe, all of the talent playing behind him in Spalletti’s setup will help the Frenchman do just that.
