UEFA have appointed Bosnian referee Irfan Peljto as the man in charge of Tuesday’s match between Real Madrid and Olympique Marseille, which will be the first European game of the season for both teams.
Per Realmadrid.com Irfan Peljto will referee the game between Real Madrid and Olympique de Marseille, on matchday one of the Champions League, which will be played at the Bernabéu (Tuesday, 9 pm CEST). The Bosnian will be refereeing a match involving Madrid for the third time in Europe’s top competition.

Real Madrid will need to take care of business in this game knowing that the rest of their schedule in this Group Stage won’t be an easy one, with games against Liverpool, Juventus, Manchester City and a very long flight to Kazakhstan to face Qarabag.
