Real Madrid beat Inter 2-1 at the Estadio Bernabéu in their Champions League meeting, with Vinícius Júnior and Dean Huijsen leading several of the home side’s individual rankings.
Inter supplied eight of the top 10 players for open-play xT and seven of the top 10 for touches in the final third. Hakan Çalhanoglu led the xT rankings with 0.431, followed by Andy Diouf on 0.408 and Lautaro Martínez on 0.353. Diouf also produced a match-high 18 progressive carries, while Curtis Jones recorded the most

Vinícius recorded a match-high four take-ons and led Madrid with nine progressive carries, second overall. He also registered 23 touches in the final third, created 0.158 xT from open play and made 13 defensive actions—the third-highest total in the match.
Huijsen led all players with 17 defensive actions. The Madrid defender had 57 touches and completed 20% of his long passes.
Alessandro Bastoni led the match for both touches and progressive passes, recording 96 and 23 respectively. He added eight progressive carries, 32 touches in the final third, two key passes and 0.209 open-play xT. Bastoni completed 96% of his passes and 50% of his long balls, while also making 10 defensive actions.
