Slovakia and Napoli legend Marek Hamšík does not have to think too long about who the best player is on the German national team — Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala.
“I’m certainly not the only one who says that Jamal Musiala is currently Germany’s biggest star. Of course, we don’t wish anything bad on anyone, especially not such a serious injury, but it’s good for us that he won’t be playing against us [tonight]. He’s an incredible talent – Germany will miss him,” Hamšík told Sport1 (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Musiala’s return is being eagerly anticipated, but the youngster still has a way to go before he is cleared to play. For Slovakia, this set of World Cup qualifiers might be the last time for a while that it does not have to deal with Musiala.
