The Los Angeles Rams signed offensive lineman Blake Hance on Wednesday, the third addition the team has made this week after previously signing guard Bill Murray and safety Alex Cook. The 6’5 guard has surprisingly been in the NFL since 2019, but has only made 11 career starts, almost all of which came in 2021 with the Cleveland Browns.
Similar to Murray, it is unlikely that Hance will crack L.A.’s regular season lineup, but obviously the Rams have some concerns about the depth of the offensive line right
now.
Between the injury to Justin Dedich and the potential suspension of Alaric Jackson, Hance and Murray provide a bit more depth on the offensive line.
Undrafted in 2019, the Rams will be Hance’s eighth NFL team. He made one start with the Tennessee Titans in 2025, proving the NFL still does like him somewhat, enough to let him hang around when times get desperate. Are times desperate for the Rams?
Apparently they could get there soon if there’s another injury or suspension.
