Joao Cancelo is making a habit of scoring spectacular goals and was at it again on Sunday night in the Nations League for Portugal against Norway.
The Barcelona defender struck a ferocious effort on 38 minutes to make it 1-1 after the visitors had gone ahead through Kristoffer Ajer.
A long throw from Portugal found Cancelo lurking on the edge of the area, with the Barcelona star connecting sweetly with the ball to arrow a fierce effort into the top corner.
The goal is Cancelo’s second for Portugal during the current international break and comes just days after the full-back won La Liga’s Goal of the Month award.
The Barcelona defender claimed the prize for his spectacular effort against Racing in September that came as part of a 7-2 victory.
Sunday’s match is Cancelo’s last with Portugal before he returns to Barcelona to begin preparations for the resumption of the Liga season and a clash with Getafe.
