Scouting Report
Mikkelsen caught 70 passes for 1,111 receiving yards
and 17 touchdowns last season. He is a big-bodied, pass-catching tight end with real mismatch potential. Mikkelsen has smooth hands, can create easy separation in space, and demonstrates enough straight-line athleticism to be a dangerous target on seams and crossers, but he still needs more mass and refinement as an in-line blocker. He can be flexed around the formation to create more matchup problems, and he’ll only become a more complete tight end as his body fills out.
