Get your lucha libre fix from AAA on Saturday night. It appears that the new TV deal this year on Fox in Latin America will have consistent episodes of AAA each week. Even better is that the worldwide audience can watch as well through WWE’s YouTube channel. The lineup airing from Mexico City on January 24, 2026 features three title bouts.
The Motor City Machine Guns duo of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin make their debut in AAA to challenge Psycho Clown and Pagano in a four-way bout for the AAA World
Tag Team Championship. There will be tough competition for the champs. In addition to the MCMG résumé of titles across the world, NGD are also strong contenders in the mix. Sansón and Forastero are two-time tag champs in AAA. The Tokyo Bad Boys round out the field, which makes Takuma and Kento the likely candidates to take the pin.
El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. defends the AAA Latin American Championship against Mecha Wolf in what should be a solid match. The greater appeal is to see if Santos Escobar butts in. Last week, Escobar returned to AAA to confront Wagner. The reason why is still a mystery.
Laredo Kid will defend the AAA Cruiserweight Championship in high-octane action against Octagón Jr. and Mini Vikingo. Octagón Jr. is a candidate to hold this title one day, but that day is not here yet without any story build. For those new to lucha libre culture, promotions sometimes double up on a character with a shorter version. Thus, Mini Vikingo is born. Mini Vikingo doesn’t have any storyline connection to Hijo del Vikingo, and they don’t interact often on television.
