The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are back on the road this week, as they’re making a mission trip to Provo, Utah, to force the BYU Cougars to submit to Rome.
Notre Dame has been under fire for months about its schedule this season, but with the Cougars ranked inside the top ten, this game is the one that can help the Irish legitimize their run to the college football playoff.

Ohio State Buckeyes @ Indiana Hoosiers — NOON
Toledo Rockets @ Eastern Michigan Eagles — 3:30
Wisconsin Badgers @ UCLA Bruins — 7:30
Either the Buckeyes get their 2nd loss of the season or Indiana gets a well deserved first loss of the year — and that sounds like a fun nooner. Obviously I’m riding hard with my EMU Eagles, and if they can get this win over Toledo to move to 4-0 in the MAC… we’re cooking with gas. Wisconsin is unranked and disrespected, but a win over UCLA could move them all the way up into the top 15 (and rightfully so).

PREDICTION
I keep comparing this game to the Wisconsin game, and there’s no other way around it for me. Notre Dame slow rolls this into a blowout just like they did in Lambeau.
