The college football playoff committee is the most corrupt body in all of sports (and with FIFA that’s saying something). As the playoff rankings were unveiled we saw no movement in the top 8, and then
it got ridiculous.
Notre Dame is OUT of the college football playoff.
Alabama, who was just blown out by Georgia on Saturday saw NO reprucussions and stayed at #9 and will have a rematch with Oklahoma. The committee then used this opportunity to move Miami ahead of Notre Dame at #10 for the final at large spot.
We quite literally saw Notre Dame win its last two games by a score of 119-27 and it moved back two spots to #11.
So…
You will never see another run by Jeremiyah Love with a gold helmet, and the Irish (who had the 4th best odds to win the national championship) are relegated to a meaningless bowl game with more starters other than Love likely sitting out — while two Group of 5 schools are being sent in to be lambs for the slaughter.
I hate everything.
