Happy Monday Husky fans. I got a chance to catch up with 4 star quarterback Sione Kaho yesterday to talk about where he is at in his recruitment and interest in UW. The Huskies have extended several offers to quarterbacks in the 2027 class, but Kaho appears to be at the top of the board. Kaho, who is from Lincoln HS, WA is rated as the 16th best quarterback in the 2027 by 247sports. Here is what Kaho had to say:
UWDP: You have been offered and recruited hard by the Huskies for a while. What other
schools are you looking at besides UW?
Other schools I’m looking at the moment is Oregon, Cal, & Stanford. These schools have also been contact with me constantly, especially early in my process.
UWDP: What are your thoughts about UW and the Fisch offense?
My thoughts about UW has always been high, especially about Coach Fisch. The way they run their program & how their prostyle offense is ran.
UWDP: You visited UW for a bunch of games- how were those visits at UW? Did you get a chance to meet with the staff?
All my visits at UW have been great. Yes I have been able to meet the whole staff & break down film. It was great talking & meeting with them about my film & how they run their offense.
UWDP: With UW already holding 2 in-state commits in the 2027 class have you been touch with Maurice Williams and Braylon Pope?
Yes, I have been in touch with both of them within the past week. Maurice actually workouts with me sometimes throughout the offseason & Braylon and I have cool relationship even though we go to different schools.
UWDP: You are listed at 6’2″ and around 205 pounds is that correct?
As of I right now I would say I’m 6’3 & weigh 210-12.
How would you describe yourself as a player and who would your comp be for a similar player?
I would describe myself as a game manager & a playmaker at times, especially in tight situations. I don’t really compare myself to anyone else game but I do take some of their traits & add it to my style of play. I take lots of traits from Drake Maye & CJ Stroud.
UWDP: When are you trying to commit to a school you choose?
I am planning on committing this upcoming June but things may change so be on the lookout for some crazy news.
Here are some of the highlights of Kaho from this last season, and Husky fans please make sure to follow Sione and his recruitment.
