Bayern Munich is preparing for a match up in the DFB-Pokal vs. VfL Osnabrück, but could be a little shorthanded. Let’s check in with some players, who have been either out of action or banged up.
Musiala probably out
It still might be too early for Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala to make his return against VfL Osnabrück. The Germany international still might need a little more time per Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau:
Jamal Musiala was also able to fully train with the FC Bayern team on Sunday. However, a spot in the squad
for the DFB-Pokal match in Osnabrück is considered unlikely. Musiala is to continue being carefully built up. @SkySportDE.
Cardozo suffered injury Saturday, Binder could be back next week
Maycon Cardozo picked up a shoulder injury during FC Bayern II’s 2-0 victory on Saturday. He will have further tests done to see the extent of the damage per Hau. Meanwhile, Tim Binder is making progress:
Maycon Cardozo will undergo a more detailed examination at Säbener Straße on Monday after injuring his shoulder during the FCB amateurs’ match. Tim Binder, according to the current plan, is to resume training on the pitch starting the week after next following his torn muscle fiber in his thigh.
