Twenty quarterbacks received at least

one vote in a recent poll of league executive, coaches and scouts that assessed the NFL’s top QBs. Jaxson Dart wasn’t one of them.

The Giants’ second-year quarterback received no love in ESPN’s annual survey of the top 10 at each position in football, while even the likes of the Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence, the Bucs’ Baker Mayfield and the Colts’ Daniel Jones got outside nods.

And every other NFC East quarterback was either ranked. So Dart not being in the conversation at all when it came to votes for top QBs entering 2026 is just noise, sure. But here’s betting Dart hears it and welcomes it as he takes the field and leads the Giants in a season in which Harbaugh’s team intends to shift the conversation and the standings.

Thibodeaux is doing everything possible to excel heading into what might be his final season with the Giants. He is outworking everyone. “His play speed and effort has been by far the best of the group this offseason.” Kayvon says he’s on a mission.

But we’ll go with Tyler Nubin, a playmaker that has been searching for that much of two seasons as a Giant. He has the size and length teams look for in the secondary, but his instincts are what sets him apart. His study habits and understanding of opposing offenses should allow for Nubin to get to spaces where young players probably should not.

As a rookie, Nubin admits that he was thinking too much, and that slowed down his ability to react and attack. Last season, with the Giants’ defense struggling with consistency, Nubin was lost in fired DC Shane Bowen’s passive scheme. Harbaugh and Wilson will expect more from Nubin and Holland, and they won’t hesitate to move them around.

20. Malik Nabers, New York Giants. Nabers tore his ACL in Week 4 of the 2025 season, preventing him from getting valuable reps with quarterback Jaxson Dart. His recovery will be crucial to the Giants’ success in 2026. Nabers recorded 271 receiving yards in fewer than four full games before the injury after eclipsing 1,200 receiving yards as a rookie. At his best, Nabers is a top-10 wide receiver in the NFL. He just needs to get healthy and build chemistry with Dart.

Honorable mention: Malik Nabers, New York Giants. “He’s easily a top-10 receiver,” said an AFC executive. “The knee situation is worrisome, but hopefully he bounces back soon. But he can do everything you need.”

Brian Burns thinks Giants can create “organized chaos” on defense | Pro Football Talk

Burns said recently that the five players “all look the same” and are capable of rushing the passer or dropping into coverage, which he believes will create problems for the offenses trying to stop them.

“It’s not going to be simple for an offense to read or understand exactly what we’re doing, and that’s the beauty in defense in my opinion,” Burns said, “And on top of that, you have world-class athletes at our size that can move around and do a lot of different things. I just feel like it’s going to be organized chaos.
