AEW
rolled into Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, for yesterday’s episode of Dynamite, where they also taped Saturday’s (Sept. 5) episode of Collision.
AEW has advertised eight matches for Saturday’s card. Let’s see how the results panned out, courtesy of spoilers from PWInsider and Wrestling Observer Radio.
- Young Bucks defeated the Callis Family’s Jake Doyle and Brian Cage, with Doyle taking the pin.
- The Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight got a win over Bang Bang Gang’s Juice Robinson and Ace Austin.
- Andrade retained the National championship with a victory over Gabe Kidd. Andrade got on the mic afterwards and said he plans to hold onto his Casino Gauntlet contract for a while as he focuses on defending the National title.
- Nick Wayne defeated Komander. The crowd chanted “past your bedtime” at the 21-year-old Wayne.
ChrisJericho came out afterwards and laid him out with the Judas Effect. - ROH Women’s World Champion Athena beat Isla Dawn in a Proving Ground match.
- The Motor City Machine Guns picked up a win over The Swirl’s Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. The live audience was said to be tired at this point. This was Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley’s debut match in AEW after becoming All Elite in July.
- Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King defeated three jobbers in a trios match.
- Persephone beat Vertvixen in a TBS championship defense. Persephone and Britt Baker attacked Vertvixen after the match, until Thunder Rosa and Maya World ran in for the save.
