Bayern Munich goalkeeper Alexander Nübel is traveling to Beşiktaş for a medical exam.
If there are no issues, the transfer is expected to happen quickly. Different reports have cited a fee, but it appears that Bayern Munich will receive a fixed fee of €6.5 million, plus a potential of €5 million in add-ons. However, Bayern Munich has also reportedly picked up at least part of Nübel’s salary to make the deal happen:
Professional footballer Alexander Nübel, with whom we have reached a principled agreement for both the club and himself, will arrive in Istanbul this evening for the completion of medical checks and the transfer process.
The plane carrying Alexander Nübel will be at Atatürk Airport General Aviation Terminal at 19:45 this evening.
Selling Nübel is one of the big tasks for Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl this summer. While the fee is not great, it does get one move complete for the executive, who has quite a few more sales to make.
