Former UFC heavyweight champion and one-time PFL fighter Francis Ngannou will make his cage fighting return opposite fellow Octagon veteran Philipe Lins
are part of the upcoming “Rousey vs. Carano” fight card on Netflix, scheduled for Sat., May 16, 2026 at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California. As expected, “The Predator” opened as a sizable betting favorite over “Monstro,” according to BetOnline.ag, clocking in at -550 against +420 on the moneyline. That’s a respectable number considering Lins departed
UFC on the strength of a four-fight win streak — and scored seven takedowns during that span.
On the downside, Lins is also a natural light heavyweight.
Ngannou vs. Lins will be contested across five, five-minute rounds inside a hexagon cage using four-ounce gloves. Since neither fighter has competed since 2024, the later rounds could prove to be an ugly affair, assuming the bout lasts that long. Combined, Ngannou (18-3) and Lins (18-5) share 30 finishes — 18 inside the first frame.
