Islam Makhachev defends his welterweight title against Ian Machado Garry at UFC 330 and the undercard for that championship bout continues to grow.
On Friday, the UFC officially announced four new matchups for the Aug. 15 event in Philadelphia, including a previously reported welterweight matchup between Myktybek Orolbai (16-2-1) and Jeremiah Wells (13-4-1).
Several intriguing names join the UFC 330 lineup. Blue-chip middleweight prospect Mansur Abdul-Malik (9-1-1) looks to rebound from his first loss
when he fights veteran Dustin Stoltzfus (16-8), longtime welterweight contender Vicente Luque (24-12-1) seeks his second straight victory at 185 pounds against Tresean Gore (6-4), and veteran welterweights Geoff Neal (16-8) and Chidi Njokuani (25-12, 1 NC) face off.
UFC 330 is headlined by Makhachev going for a record-breaking 17th straight UFC victory as he puts his 170-pound title on the line for the first time against Garry. Strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern takes on top contender Gillian Robertson in the co-main event.
