Real Madrid youngster Yan Diomande spoke about how the club is and acts like a family. Speaking to RM Play, he was asked about the atmosphere at the club, and how he is adjusting to life at Real Madrid — especially as a shy person. He said: “I am shy, I always have been, that has not changed. I am also the youngest in the squad. There are lots of fun and friendly players here… Vini, Kylian, Aurélien. I feel like we are a family.”
Diomande also spoke about how it feels to actually play for Real Madrid
at this age, and how things were so different just a few years ago when he used to watch this team on the television. He said: “It’s a pleasure, an honor to play with the best players in the world. I used to watch them on TV and now I share the same dressing room as them.”
He also talked about his sister, and how he is able to work hard because of her, and dedicate everything to her and his mom. He said: “I think about my sister and mom, but especially my sister because, as everyone knows, I lost my sister. I give it my all every match in memory of my sister.”
