Michael Olise is perhaps one of Bayern Munich’s most exciting signings since Franck Ribery himself. The match against Eintracht Frankfurt demonstrates how influential Olise has been in attack — unstoppable and inevitable. With 11 goal involvements in 10 appearances in the current season, Olise is one of the hottest winger in the game right now. His performance has not gone unnoticed as admirers for him are starting to lineup. With a contract running till 2029, Bayern however, are relatively relaxed.
The Rekordmeister currently boast a perfect start to the season with a record 25 goals in the first 6 league games. Olise has been a crucial part of the blazing hot Bayern attack. Further, reports of growing interest for the winger from England and Spain have being doing the rounds. With that said, the executive for sport at Bayern, Christoph Freund spoke to Sky (via @iMiaSanMia) addressing the growing demand for Olise. “We’re not under any pressure. Michael has a long-term contract, he proved himself and took steps forward. We can imagine him playing for Bayern for the next 7, 8, 9 years,” said Freund.
Soon to be 24, Olise would be worthy of a huge money investment from any of the top clubs, such as Liverpool and Real Madrid. The question then remains, whether Bayern would make an early extension or hold on to the current contract which has no release clause.
