Marcus Rashford has become the latest player to be dropped by Hansi Flick after arriving late for a team meeting at Barcelona.
The Manchester United loanee, who bagged a brace in midweek in the Champions League, has dropped out of the starting XI to face Getafe on Sunday due to his tardiness.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Rashford was “a little late to the team’s morning meeting” on Sunday and has paid the price by dropping to the bench.
He’s by no means the first to fall foul of Flick’s rules and he’s
unlikely to be the last from the look of it.
Inaki Pena and Jules Kounde have previously been benched by Flick, while Raphinha was the latest to turn up late and was left out of the starting XI against Valencia.
The Brazilian responded by coming on as a substitute and scoring two goals, something Rashford will surely be hoping he can do if given the chance on Sunday night.
