The Miami Dolphins have made their first of two scheduled picks in the 2026 NFL Draft’s first round. The team entered the night with the 11th and 30th overall picks. After coming on the clock following the New York Giants, the Dolphins traded the 11th pick to the Dallas Cowboys, adding the 12th spot.
The team then added Alabama tackle Kadyn Proctor. He a a massive player, coming in at just shy of 6-foot-7 and 352 pounds.
Miami came into this week’s draft with needs all over the roster, particularly
at cornerback, safety, edge rusher, offensive line, and wide receiver. With this selection, they add a massive player who can come in and start at guard or could challenge right tackle Austin Jackson for a starting role
The Dolphins are scheduled to be back on the clock with the 30th pick. During tomorrow night’s second and third rounds, Miami holds the 43rd, 75th, 87th, 90th, and 94th picks. Saturday’s final four rounds include the Dolphins scheduled to make the 130th, 151st, 227th, and 238th overall selections. The trade with the Cowboys added the 177th and 180th picks to the haul as well.
